Marie Funderburg, age 89, of Pine Bluff, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 29, 2023. She was born to Walter and Leila Price in Union Township on October 10, 1933. She worked as a nurse before retiring. Never one to stay at home, she remained active throughout her retirement, especially enjoying music, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her many friends and her family. A devout Christian, she was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Funderburg; her sister, Nora Lee Murray; her brother, John Hilburn Price; and her grandson, Ryan Livingston.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Dianne (George) Livingston, Judy (Larry) Longino; her son Roger (Amy) Funderburg; her granddaughter Kari Livingston; great granddaughter, Hannah Livingston; and a multitude of friends.

Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello, followed by funeral services at 3:30 p.m. with interment at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello immediately following the funeral.
