Jarrod was such a special person. His laugh was one that I will never forget. He was one of my pee wee basketball coaches. He would do anything I ask him to do. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I know he will be missed by so many people. Treasure your memories of him. Love to all of you.

My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Jarrod Oglesby . I had the honor of not only serving with him but for a good chunk prior to deployment we were roommates too. I have many fond memories of our times out there. Always had a smile on his face and kept everyone in HQ Plt in good spirits. Many mornings shamming out on PT with everyone to watch SportsCenter due to the time zone difference. Yet never once did his scores falter as a result, Cant same the same about the rest of us. You always hope you'll have more time to reconnect and share stories and updates. Unfortunately that's not always the case, you will forever be missed by all those who knew you. Keep an eye out for us.

I didn't know Jarrod, but I knew his Aunt Sandra Atkins and loved her and I know she is saddened by Jarrod's passing. I will be thinking and praying for you Sandra and all the other loved ones that will miss Jarrod greatly. Jarrod's obituary reveals that he was an amazing human being with lots of love for his friends and his country.

Prayers for the families I pray God give you the strength to endure to the end. The race to the grave is one we all must run and with only the help of the Lord can we make it to heaven. Remember God is in control he has the final say, and on that day he said well done my son come on home to be my me in paradise.
