Roger Dale Miller, age 76 of Monticello, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at his home. He was born April 25, 1947, in Monticello, AR to the late R.L. ''Tobe'' Miller and Mildred B. Gunn Miller.
He was a Master Plumber for many years, United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and proud member of Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Roger enjoyed deer hunting where he was a member of Duncan Hunting Club, turkey hunting and fishing. He was a good Christian man who loved his church and church family very much and was always there to help his friends and family in their time of need. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, R.L. Miller, Jr., Gary Miller and Leo Miller; five sisters, Joan Miller Herring, Elouise Gregory, Marcell Clary, Vivian Johnston and Eddie Stout; and a nephew, Brad Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hudson Miller of Monticello; very special friends who were like children to him, Chris Barnett, Darla Barnett, Maggie Barnett, Rachel Barnett Ludlow and husband Aaron all of Monticello; sisters-in-law, Mary Miller and Barbara Miller both of Monticello; nieces and nephews, Terri Miller Sawyer, Jason Miller, Kevin Herring, Doug Herring, Rusty Miller, James Johnston, John Wayne Slaughter, Scott Sanders and Donna Walker; great nieces and nephews, Sandy Forrest Coulter, Lea Forrest Faulkner, Russell Coulter, Stevie Christoph; a special niece, Erin Coulter; along with special friends, Mae Lee Miller and Gloria Jones.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Roper officiating. Burial will be in Campground Cemetery.     I'm so sorry to hear about Rodger he was such a sweet man and a hard worker. Seen him a couple months back he was so excited that his wife was fixing to come home.
