Wanda Lee Roberts Middlebrook, age 89, of Monticello, passed away August 31, 2023, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born November 6, 1933, in Jefferson County, Arkansas to the late Ben Roberts and Collen Murphy Brown. Wanda worked at Burlington Industries from 1968 to 1999 when she retired. She had been a member of First Assembly of God Church in Monticello since 1992.0Wanda was a true Christian lady who loved witnessing about her faith, going to church, and praying for her family and friends. She loved knitting, quilting, hunting, fishing, and camping. Wanda was also the widow of Alton "Buddy" Middlebrook.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Wayvon Burns; sister, Bennie White; brothers, Lewis Roberts, Billy Roberts, and Ebert Aycock.

She is survived by her grandsons, Devin Burns, and Tracy Burns (Stacy), Timmy Burns, and Andy Burns (Farrah); great-grandchildren, Tyler Burns, Nick Burns, Parker Burns, Skylar Burns, Austin Burns, Paige Rainey (Spencer), Sidney Burns, Michael Knight (Christina); sister, Helen Adams of Amarillo, Texas; eight great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Burns.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Monticello. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, Arkansas.
