Virginia Amelia Reinhart Ray, age 87 of Monticello, Arkansas, passed away at home Sunday, September 3, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born August 20, 1936, in Ulm, Arkansas to the late George Aloys Reinhart and Virgie Martin Reinhart. She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church, a United States Air Force wife, and a homemaker. Virginia enjoyed bowling, crocheting, crewel embroidery, watching game shows on the television, and watching sports, especially the Razorbacks. She bowled in league play for many years all the way up until COVID in 2020 and was a regular at Young's BBQ. Another favorite pastime of hers was spending time with her family at the Wolfe Prairie Farm.

In addition to her parents, Virginia is also preceded in death by her husband, Edward D. Ray.

She is survived by her children, David Ray and wife Kimberly, George Ray and wife Stephanie, and Brenda Fiester; grandchildren, Aaron Ray, Brittney Jones, and Lauren Sullivan; two great-grandchildren; caregivers, Elaine Connard, Patty Curtis, Lisa Matthews, Ashley Franklin, Monica Miller, Natalie Woods, and Kimberly Hokes; as well as host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will follow the visitation on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in Oakland Cemetery.
