She was a retired Secretary for American Buildings and a member of Georgetown Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sarah is survived by her son, Dan Edwards, and wife Jana of Monticello, AR.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time at Georgetown Baptist Church in Georgetown, GA. Visitation will be one hour prior from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Georgetown Cemetery. You can sign Mrs. Sarah's guestbook page on this website.

Eufaula, AL Monday, October 2, 2023 Dan,Maxine has been so special to Kristy and me for many years. She loved you and Edwin so much! She also shared her love with us in so many ways. We had so many good times with her and Louie. We especially enjoyed the visits from Andy. What a special young man! Maxine was so proud of him! Maxine rejoiced when she joined Edwin and Louie! What a happy reunion that must have been! God granted her mercy, and I am thankful for that. I will see you at graveside. May God comfort you at this sad time.

PRATTVILLE, AL Sunday, October 1, 2023 Maxine was the first Grandchild of John and Maxie Holmes and I followed 3 months later as the next grandchild. We used to visit our Grandparents at the same time and spent many happy hours playing together. I also would go to Eufaula to spend the day with Maxine and we would go to the movies.
