Eddie Allen was born January 7, 1933, in Coushatta, LA, to the late Jack Allen and the late Pearl Gaston. He left this life on October 8, 2023, at his home in Monticello, Arkansas, and was the first of four children. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. Eddie departed this life on Sunday, October 8, 2023. He was employed at San Francisco Public Works in California for many years before his retirement. Eddie's favorite hobby was watching sports and calling his nieces and nephews to cheer on with them.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Edna Douglas Allen of Monticello AR; one daughter, Barbara of San Francisco, CA; a loving son, Travis Jackson, Monticello, AR; one sister, Jackie Jones, San Francisco, CA; two aunts, Cesrea Allen and May Lou Allen, Coushatta, LA; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers in law, Alwesley (Jack) Adams and Robert Douglas; along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

The family would also like the give special thanks to a special friend, Jessie Farmer for all her help.
