Don Edward Smith was born January 18, 1958, in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Gene Smith Sr. and Martha Smith. He attended Mt. Pleasant AME Church (Campground) at an early age. He was married to the late Annette Vincent Smith. From their union they had two lovely children, Patrick Smith and Aaron Smith. Don graduated from Monticello High School in 1976. He worked at SeArk Marine Boats for thirty years. Don loved his family dearly. He was a man of few words but loyal to those he loved.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Willie Gene Smith, Sr.; his mother, Martha Smith; his wife, Annette Vincent Smith; and his sister, Brenda Philips. Don leaves behind his two sons; his brother, Willie Gene Smith, Jr.; and a host of extended family and friends that he cherished as well.
Funeral Services will be Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service in Campground Cemetery in Monticello, AR.
