George ''Billy'' William Hayden, age 71, of Coleman, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Arkansas. He was born December 30, 1951, in Coleman, AR, to the late George Wilbur Hayden and Tommie Creighton Hayden. Billy drove a log truck until his retirement from L.D. Long, Inc. He was a member of Pleasant Springs Missionary Baptist Church and attended night services at Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed singing in the church choir, mowing grass, and cutting firewood.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his wife Deborah Rouse Hayden; two sons, William George Hayden, and George Wilbur Hayden; and one brother, Wilbur Gene Hayden.
Billy is survived by two brothers, Larry D. Hayden of Coleman, Arkansas, and Eddie Hayden and wife Gail of Monticello, Arkansas; one sister, Judy Trout of Monticello, Arkansas; nephew, Bryan D. Hayden, and wife Karen; niece, Theresa Brazier and husband Rick of Fountain Hill, Arkansas; special friend, Ms. Linda Naron of Monticello, Arkansas; all of his church family and friends from both Pleasant Springs and Faith Missionary Baptist Churches; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 2:30 ā€" 3:30 p.m. at Pleasant Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Pleasant Springs Cemetery.
