She was a retired hairdresser and member of the Green Hill Community Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Liz King; two brothers, Steve and Jimmy Higgins; four children, Rachel Holland of Huntsville, AL, Angelique Scott of Bristol, VA, Christy Anderson of Forney, TX and Ryan Young; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Green Hill Community Baptist Church. There will be a visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. preceding the memorial service at the church.
