Patricia E. ''Pat'' Wright Wheeler, age 82 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Belleview Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. She was born November 3, 1941, in Banks, AR to the late Walter F. Wright and Audrey P. Armstrong Wright.
She worked for the Arkansas Highway Department before retiring from Wal Mart. Patricia was of the Baptist faith, loved quilting and needlepoint, playing with her grandkids and playing on her tablet. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray ''Donnie'' Wheeler, Jr.; a grandson, Christopher Keanan Harris; sisters, Mary Richards and Shirley Cotham; and brothers, Obet Wright and L.F. Wright, Jr.
Patricia is survived by a daughter, Angelina ''Angie'' Wheeler Harris (Keanan) of Warren; a brother, Walter ''Buddy'' Wright; grandsons, Jonathan W. Harris (Jordan) of White Hall and Ethan Harris of Warren; great grandchildren, Faithlyn, Madison, Christopher Don and Ronnie; two special friends, Tina Williams and Annette Lewis Bryant; two nieces, Tammie Cotham from Johnsville and Terri Cotham Springer of Rison; and one nephew, David Richards from Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. before the funeral service. Burial will be in Wilmar Cemetery. You can sign her online registry on this website.
