She graduated from Drew High School with the Class of 1970. While there she was a member of the cheerleading squad and prom queen her senior year. Although her health did not allow her to attend often, her faith in God never wavered. Barbara Ann married Elvin Hamilton and to this union, two children were born. Later in life, she met and married Melvin Hampton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Jacobs, Sr. (Catherine) and Annie Mozell Jacobs; three aunts; one uncle; and a stepson.

Kelvin I hate to hear this but sympathize with you. I used to get off the school bus and hang out at the hospital with her and mom. She was a wonderful lady. I have great memories of her and my mom (Linda) working together & playing softball. Lean on each other during this difficult time and pray for strength to get through.
