Judy Ann Lawrence Beard, age 76 of Monticello, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born November 23, 1947, in Warren, Arkansas to the late Herbert K. Lawrence and Velma Bradford Lawrence.

She was retired from the City of Monticello. Judy was a member of the Monticello Church of Christ and enjoyed traveling, flowers, making pies for friends and family, and chaperoning her granddaughters choir trips. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Tony Beard, her brother Jerry Lawrence, and her grandparents Claude and Elizabeth V. Lawrence, Henry and Hester Bradford. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Gibson and her husband Terry of Monticello, Shawnna Cook and her husband Timothy of Monticello; one granddaughter, Ainsley Barnett; one sister, Sue Woodard; and two brothers, Venoy Lawrence (Jackie) and Jimmy Lawrence (Vanessa).

Memorial services will be held at the Monticello Church of Christ on Saturday, March 16 at 10:00 am with Paul Mowrer officiating. Memorials are preferred to the Monticello Church of Christ Building Fund or the Kennedy Boulevard Church of Christ Benevolence Fund.
