Bryant De'Keith Rhodes, Sr., age 49 of Monticello, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born March 9, 1975, in Monticello, Arkansas to Edward Rhodes, Sr. and Betty Carr Rhodes. Bryant had a love for cars and racing that made memories for his family that would last forever. He enjoyed fishing and anything that had a motor. He was an alumnus of Drew Central High School where he played basketball. To hear him tell it he was the best basketball player in the world and was quick to challenge his friends and family to a game.
Byrant is preceded in death by his mother as well as numerous aunts and uncles. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Devunte Thrower, Deonta Thrower, Bryant Rhodes, Jr., Stephanie Rhodes, Xavier Ridgell, and Ayanna Ridgell; his loving sister who was always there for him, Jessica Freeman and husband Bobby; brother, Edward Rhodes, Jr.; five grandchildren; special friend Tanisha Carter; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
There will be a private memorial at a later date.
