Joy Lynn Phillips Lytle, age 81 of Monticello, AR, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. She was born September 26, 1942, in Warren, AR to the late Cele Phillips and Nora Godfrey Phillips.
Mrs. Joy loved spending time with her boys and grandchildren. She also enjoyed dancing and being around the water where she swam and loved going to Pensacola Beach. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Lois Davis and Jack Phillips.
She is survived by her three sons, Kevin Lytle, Brian Lytle and Shannon Lytle all of Monticello; a sister, Bobbie Jean Mann of Warren; grandchildren, Courtney Flemister, McKinzy Dunn, Sky Ashley Lytle, Shannon Kyler Lytle, Gunnar Donaldson, Taylor Donaldson and Kaylee Dodson; great grandchildren, Kinsley Flemister, Emerson Flemister, Addison James, Braden Case Dunn and Oakland Marie Don Dunn; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bud Banks officiating. There will be a visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyler Lytle, Gunner Donaldson, Danny Joe McClellan, Zach McClellan, Caleb McClellan, Hunter McClellan. You can sign Mrs. Joy's guestbook registry on this page.
