Chester Lavon Brown, age 78 of Falcon, MO, formerly of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at his home. He was born August 13, 1945, in Warren, AR to the late Jim Brown and Idell Doss Brown.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor and a proud United States Army National Guard Veteran. Chester loved anything outdoors especially camping and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Willie Earl Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Simpson Brown of Falcon, MO; one daughter, Rhonda Brown Fore and husband John of Falcon, MO; one brother, James Edward Brown and wife Fern of Monticello; a niece, Sherry Ann Brown of Monticello; three grandchildren, Matthew Fore and wife Ashley, Daniel Fore and wife Shonna, and Stephanie Fore Allen and husband Garrick; seven great-grandchildren; along with a host of other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial will be in the Ozment/Valley Cemetery.
