Bessie Ann McClellan

Bessie Ann McClellan, age 95 of New Edinburg, AR, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren, AR. She was born December 30, 1928, in Monticello, AR to the late Willy D. and Ottie Ray Hoover Cater. She worked for Potlatch Corporation for 26 years before her retirement and was a Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Eddie Earl Cox and Grice McClellan; five brothers; Cal Cater, Otis Cater, J. D. Cater, Arlee Cater and Myriel Cater; six sisters, Grace Cater, Eunice McQuisten, Lilly Cater, Lovenner White, Claradell Walters and Mary Sanders; and a grandson, Josh Cox.
She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Truman; sons, William David Cox and wife Jan, Billy Ray Cox and wife Becky; Steven Lamar Cox and Eddie Dewayne Cox; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Brother Joe Chambers officiating. Burial will be in Willoughby Cemetery, Old Camden Road, Warren, AR. You can sign Mrs. Bessie''™s guestbook registry on this page.
