Mary Lee Minor, age 88 of Monticello, AR, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 20, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born May 10, 1936, in Humphrey, AR.
She was an avid Arkansas Razorback and Monticello Billies fan but, more than anything she loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved to travel and had an unmatched joy for life.
She was the daughter of the late William H. Owen and Mary Bishop Owen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard E. Minor; her son, Barry Neal Beasley (Michelle); and her sister, Virginia Owen.
Survivors include her sons, Jimmie Beasley (Denise) of Monticello, AR, Fred Beasley of Bayou Meta, AR and Mike Minor (Nora) of Redding, CA; daughters, Ginger Beasley-Cotton (T.J.) of Monticello, AR, Lisa Rigo (Juro) and Lori Minor both of Sarasota, FL; her brother, William Owen (Linda) of Jonesboro, AR; her sister, Ann Epperson of Humphrey, AR; a special son, Ray Ryburn (Breanna) of Monticello, AR; special daughters, Georgina and Crystal Younger of Leesburg, FL; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces (Awmoo loves you) and nephews; along with two best sister/friends, Rhea Lagrone and Martha Scifres both of Monticello, AR.
