He was a retired Information Systems Manager for Burlington Industries with 36 years of service. Paul loved his family and working outdoors. He passed along a love of hunting, fishing, and shooting. He was an amateur historian of World War II and seemed to know every shape, form, and kind of military equipment used in every theater.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty June Grafton of Monticello; his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Kurt Grafton and Laura Grafton of Batesville, Arkansas; his daughter, Paula Grafton Young of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; grandchildren, Benjamin Parker Grafton and Ruby Elizabeth Grafton; many brothers and sisters-in-law and nephews and nieces who were all considered close family.
Graveside services will be at 12:00 noon Monday, May 5, 2025, at Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Robert Davis officiating. You can sign Paul's guestbook registry on this page.
