Bobette Nagel Manees passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025. She was born on June 16, 1947, in Dermott, Arkansas, to Thomas Duane Nagel and Bonnie Ruth Harden Nagel.

She dedicated her career to education, teaching for many years in the Little Rock and Pulaski County school districts, where she touched countless lives with her passion for learning and commitment to her students.

Bobette was also an active and devoted member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution (DAR) and the P.E.O. Sisterhood, organizations that reflected her love of history, education, and community service.

She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Tommy Nagel (Stephanie); her niece, Mary Elizabeth Moots (Tom); her nephew, Thomas Nagel; and her great-niece, Charlotte Moots, all of Germantown. She also leaves behind many cherished cousins and dear friends.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Bobette. I worked with her for many years in education. She was a sweet, loving person. She was a class act. She was always the same wherever you saw her. I consider her a great teacher and friend. Uplifting the family in prayer. Keep those memories near and dear.
