Roy Lee Haynes was born April 22,1956. On Thursday, May 22, 2025, the Lord welcomed our beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather, cousin, and friend home. Roy graduated from Drew High School in 1975. He joined the Army shortly after High School. Roy confessed Christ at First Baptist in Monticello, AR. During his adult years, Roy became a member of Holmes Chapel under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Branch. During his health challenges, Roy recommitted his life to Christ under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Before his health failed, Roy worked as a mechanic for many years. Roy was always the life the party. He loved to dance, enjoyed music, playing cards, and dominoes. He was down to earth and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Roy Lee Haynes was born in Monticello, AR to Lucy Haynes and Earnest Haynes (Dough Belly)(preceding in passing). Also preceded him in passing were his brothers, James David Haynes (J.D.), Earnest Haynes Jr.; sisters Ernestine Clary (Tine), Sarah White, Minnie Jackson (LeRoy Jackson), Kathy Noble, and Lonzella Lambert.

Roy Haynes leaves to cherish his memories, 2 sisters, Linda Haynes (Little Rock, AR), Betty Haynes (Milwaukee, WI); 2 brothers John Haynes (Eddie Boy)( Monticello, AR), Bobby Haynes (North Carolina), daughter Keisha Haynes (Milwaukee, WI), seven grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
