Wanda Sue Lewis-Montgomery was born January 18, 1966, to the late Catherine Ann Batts Lewis and the late Lamar Lewis, Sr. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at her home in Tennille, Georgia. She was educated in the Monticello Public School in Drew County, Arkansas. She was the fourth child of eleven children. She dedicated her life to God at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Paul Everett, Sr. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and went on to be a Cosmetologist by trade. Wanda also worded at Central Supply at St. Michael's Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.

Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Ann Batts Lewis; her father, Lamar Lewis, Sr.; and two brothers, Lamar Lewis, Jr. and Ricky Lewis. She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Charles Montgomery of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Marquita (Joshua) Taylor, Sr. of Tenille, Georgia and Monica Martin of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son, David James Haynes, Jr. of Midway, Texas; grandchildren S'Quoya Taylor, Isaiah Taylor, Jayla Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Jr., Mariagha Wyatt, Dylan Taylor, and Maxon Taylor; five brothers, Mark (Annette) Batts of Monticello, Arkansas, Keith Lewis of Monticello, Arkansas, Rodney Lewis of Dumas, Arkansas, Anthony Lewis of Hamburg, Arkansas, and Marcus Withers of Little Rock, Arkansas; five sisters, Sheila (Charles) Lee, Vanesa Daniels, Kandice Lambert, and Daphne Chrisitan all of Monticello, Arkansas, and Tina Tennard of Conway, Arkansas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She also leaves to cherish her memory, three uncles, Otis Burks of Monticello, Arkansas, Welton Lewis of Flint, Michigan, and Earl Wherry of Dermott, Arkansas; three aunts, Marva McDaniels of Flint, Michigan, Peggy Bradley of Monticello, Arkansas, and Barbara Richardson of McGehee, Arkansas.
