LaTarnesha Jacobs, affectionately known as ''Nesha,'' was a radiant light born on June 24, 1992, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to LaTara Owens and Demetrius Jacobs. From the very beginning, Nesha lived life with a contagious joy, a nurturing heart, and a passion for caring for others. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age, and her faith remained a guiding force throughout her life.

In 2010, Nesha graduated with honors from Monticello High School, already focused and determined to pursue her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. She went on to graduate in 2014 from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Committed to her calling in healthcare, Nesha furthered her education by enrolling in the Baptist Health School of Nursing program, ultimately achieving her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse.

Nesha's journey was filled with purpose and compassion. She found her calling as a traveling nurse, bringing comfort and care to patients across multiple healthcare systems. Her career led her to serve with dedication at Arkansas Heart Hospital, Arkansas Children's Hospital, and AYA Healthcare. Her clinical excellence, vibrant energy, and tender spirit made her a beloved presence wherever she worked.

To know Nesha was to know laughter, warmth, and an unwavering love for life. Whether on a spontaneous road trip, in a heart-to-heart conversation, or simply spending time with her children, she poured joy into every moment. Her presence uplifted all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Carrie Mae Owens, who passed just two months before her.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her three precious children: Derriunna Davis, Heith Penn, and Princeton Liam Robinson. She is also survived by her devoted parents, LaTara Owens and Demetrius Jacobs (Carol); her grandparents Lewis Owens, Marilynn Trotter (Henry), Albert Jacobs; two loving sisters, Naomi Jacobs and Elisa Jacobs; and her brother, Ryan Thuo. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and coworkers who admired and adored her.

Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice in the beautiful life she lived and the lasting impact she made. Nesha's smile, her strength, and her unshakable spirit will forever live on in all of us.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a Wake Friday evening from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. You can sign Nesha's guestbook registry here on her page.
