He was a retired medical technologist, United States Air Force Veteran where he served as a medic in the Korean War and was a Methodist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Stokes of Norton, VA; and two wives, Nancy Auburn Yeager Stokes and Anna Sue Stokes.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Stokes of Ft. Smith; a daughter, Lisa Kay Stokes Pittman of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Kristie Michelle Stokes Nall of Monticello, Nicholas Neil Stokes of Ft. Smith and Cassandra Susan Pittman Torres of Phoenix, AZ; great grandchildren, Wynree Lynn Stokes of Ft. Smith, Lucas Neil Stokes of Ft. Smith and Alexander Ricardo Torres of Phoenix, AZ; and a sister, Barbara Stokes Saylor of Wallins Creek, KY.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joey Chambers officiating. There will be a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. You can sign Ted''™s guestbook registry here on his page.
