David Lee ''D-Wop'' Stanley of Jacksonville, AR, son of Willie D. Stanley and the late Nicey Mae Singleton, was born November 5, 1991, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He transitioned to eternal life on August 6, 2025, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 33. He was the youngest male of ten siblings. He professed his faith in Christ at an early age.

David was a graduate of Monticello High School, Class of 2009. After high school, he attended the University of Arkansas College of Technology at McGehee, where he majored in welding. Shortly after graduating from UAM, he put his skills to work.

David was loved by many and never met a stranger. To know David is to know a life full of laughter and joy. He was always clowning around, joking, making music, fishing, working on vehicles, or grilling. If a person felt sad or down David could always manage to make them smile. His children were his reasoning. He loved his girls beyond words. There's no words that can express the love he has for his daughters.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Nicey Mae Singelton; his baby sister, Michanna Stanley; nephew, Christopher Jackson, Jr.; grandmothers, Girtha Fielder and Flossie Johnson; grandfathers, Clayton Fielder and Matt Stanley, Sr.; uncles, James Stanley, Percy Stanley, Elijah Stanley, Wesley Stanley, and Billy Ray Kendericks; and aunts, Joyce Singleton, Vivian Davidson, and Barbara Yancey.

David leaves to cherish in his memory his daughters, Neviah Stanley of Arkansas City, Emberly Stanley and McKenna Stanley both of Jacksonville, AR; a bonus daughter, Mya Jasmine of Jacksonville, AR; the mothers of his children, NiChosa Lison of Arkansas City and Annie Blatti of Jacksonville, AR; his father, Willie D. Stanley; his siblings, Cynthia Daniels and Tanesha Stanley both of Benton, AR, Matt Stanley, III and Nitisha Stanley of Texarkana, AR, Reginald (Latoya) Stanley of Jacksonville, AR, Temesha Stanley of Pine Bluff, AR, Martel Williams of Eudora, AR, and LaToya Singleton of Wilmot, AR He also leaves his precious memories with a host of loving aunts and uncles, fourteen nieces, ten nephews, two great nieces, one great nephew, and a host of other family and friends.

There will be a wake Friday, August 15, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
