She was retired from the Arkansas State Police where she worked in the Crimes Against Children Division. Dorris loved being outdoors where she loved fishing and camping. She also enjoyed painting, crafting, cooking and making people laugh but her greatest passion other than her job was her children and family. Dorris had a heart for helping children and had a passion for her job and the children's welfare. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Max Workman; a sister, Deborah Leggett; her stepfather, Jim Kling; and her fur baby, Nikki.
She is survived by a daughter, Alex Hill Huneycutt and husband Michael of Monticello; a son, Michael Daniels and wife Dana of Calion; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Morgan Eubanks and wife Michele of Little Rock; a special niece, Heather Gunther and husband Rick of Little Rock; a special nephew, Tim Eubanks of Little Rock; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and very special friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Thomas Minga officiating. There will be a visitation Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers are Brent Smith, Craig Labaj, James Odom, Miles Henley, Chad Murphy and Eddie Flemister. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Dr. Jeff Reinhart, Dr. David Kuperman, Dr. Damon Odom and Dr. Brent Cameron. You can sign Dorris' guestbook registry here on her page.
