Keena Deann West, age 47 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her home. She was born July 15, 1978, in Boydell, AR to David Barnett, Sr. and the late Peggy Juanita Hallman.

Keena was a woman of many different trades including riding around seeing nature, reading her bible and history books, going fishing and spending time with her kids, friends and grandkids. She loved arts and crafts like diamond painting, building lego sets and puzzles, and loved almost any kind of music. Keena was a very special woman. She was very loving, smart, loyal, blunt, and funny. She always had a joke up her sleeve, loved very unconditionally and always cared for others whether she showed it or not. May God rest her beautiful loving soul. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two children, Hannah May Harris and Taylor Barnett.

She is survived by brothers, Jessie Dodson and David Barnett, Jr.; her children, Jocelyn West, Kelli West, Jasmine Harris, Jeanne Harris, Hope Harris and Kyle Barnett; and her grandchildren, Londyn Hope Del-angel, RemiLynn Andrews and Layla Grace Bittle.

''But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.'' Isaiah 40:31.
