Judy Erwin Russ, age 84 of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on October 2, 2025. She was born on October 27, 1940, in Cambridge, England, to James and Grace Barlow.
In 1962, Judy immigrated to the United States, where she later married James Locke Erwin, III. They shared a loving marriage until his passing in 1998. In 2003, she married James Curtis Russ, with whom she spent her later years.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her first husband, James Locke Erwin, III; and brother-in-law Brian Lawrence.
Judy was a devoted mother to Jackie McKeown and husband Mark and James Locke Erwin, IV and significant other Ashley. She was also blessed with stepchildren, Michelle Nowlton, James Curtis Russ, II, and Kia Bostic. She was a proud grandmother to Amanda Foster and husband, Ian, Lori McKeown, Kimberly Erwin, Ashley Erwin LeCompt and wife Bethanie, Olivia ''Libby'' Graves, Sara McKeown, Joshua Erwin, Dillan Erwin and wife, Allie, Zoe Erwin, Brandon Russ, Sabron Russ, Malakia Russ, Makayla Williams and Aia Williams. Judy also has 27 great grandchildren. She also cherished her older sister, Jean Lawrence.

She retired from Silvicraft Industries, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She was a woman of quiet strength and grace, whose life reflected her love of family and faith. Judy enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible, and spending time with her loved ones. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Magnolia, AR, where she found great joy in spending time with the church community and in worship. She was a member of the Mother's Board & the Deaconesses.

Judy will be laid to rest beside her first husband in Tillar Cemetery. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Roper officiating. There will be a visitation preceding the funeral service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Her memory will live on in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
