He was a practicing Family Medicine Physician with Mainline Medical Clinic in Monticello and member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Dr. Cordova enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, cooking, swimming, camping and spending time in Bible study.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen Cordova; one daughter, Natalie Cordova; two sons, Joshua Cordova and Moises Cordova; one brother, Abel Cordova; and one sister, Silvia Cueva Cordova.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. preceding the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Joshua Cordova, Moises Cordova, Dr. Walter R. Plasencia, Dr. Victor Plasencia, Dr. Reuben Plasencia and Dr. Walter G. Plasencia.
