Shaquina grew up in the New Light community with her siblings and cousins. She attended Drew Central Schools before attending North Little Rock Schools for two years while staying with her Uncle Pete and Aunt Wanda. During her school years at North Little Rock, she joined the ROTC.
Shaquina accepted Christ at an early age. She joined and was baptized at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church where she performed duties as an usher. Her two children recently joined Gethsemane M.B. Church and were baptized there by Rev. Luther Spratt. Shaquina met and married Howard Lee Daniels on May 6, 2019. During her short life she was employed at numerous jobs including Long John Silvers, Dairy Queen, Subway, Dollar General and lastly worked as a Wal Mart Associate.
Shaquina loved her two boys and dedicated her time to enriching their lives. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and hanging out with her many cousins. She was a free-spirited, loving, caring person with a positive attitude. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Curtis Lee Veasey.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Howard Lee Daniels, Jr. of Conway; her two sons, Cayden Ja-Shun Daniels both and Hayden Lee Daniels both of Conway; a brother, Jimmy Dewayne Stanley of Monticello; her grandmother, Jonnie Maxine Veasey of Monticello; and one step-sister, Nakedra Ward of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Clarence Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge #2 Cemetery. There will be a Wake Saturday evening from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
