He was a retired Price Lumber Company employee and attended the Assembly of God Church. Dennis was the life of the party and full of life. He appreciated the simple things in life; fishing, hunting, riding his four-wheeler, horseback riding and spending time with his family. His daughter Deanne said it perfectly, ''He was one of a kind; nobody could laugh and smile like him.'' In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lela Hall; and a brother, Clayton Spears.
Dennis is survived by a special partner/soulmate, Hilda Dunemn; a daughter, Deanne Herring and husband Jason; siblings, Anne Scott and husband Eugene, Shirley Chapman and Arlie Spears; grandchildren, Kendall Bilberry and husband Cash, Stratton, Grayson and Presley Herring; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to issue a special thanks to Woods Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice for the loving care they gave Dennis.
