She was a homemaker and also worked as a factory worker and a Chicot Memorial Hospital employee. Vicki attended the Free Will Baptist Church before becoming a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Plainview. She loved her flowers, thrifting and doing arts and crafts. Vicki also had a passion for helping others and spending quality time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Edwards; and a brother, Damon Wade Morphis.
Survivors include her husband, John Edwards of Plainview; one daughter, Wendi Ann Edwards of Plainview; one son, Jerry Wendell J. Edwards of Jacksonville; two brothers, Wayne Morphis and Kevin Morphis both of Monticello; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Bayou Mason Baptist Church in Lake Village with Rev. Ronnie Garrett and Rev. Justin Morphis officiating. There will be a visitation one hour preceding the funeral service at the church. Burial will be in Bayou Mason Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Wesley Morphis, Isaiah Morphis, Christian Morphis, Dakota McNichols, Michael McDonald and Colton Etheridge. You can sign Vicki's guestbook registry here on this website.

Lake Village and I was grown up around the Morphos family and when I was born Aunt Vicki nik named me Monkey and that's all she ever called me and was a wonderful person full of life even when I got older and she would see me she would say there's my monkey 🐵 she will be missed dearly.
