She was the widow of Leon Barnett, a retired Burlington Industries employee and member of East Side Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Youngblood and husband Bernard; infant son, Tommy Barnett; eight brothers, Lewis Burch, Marvin Burch, Edward Burch, Joe Burch, Herman Burch, Claude Fox, Robert Fox and Johnny Fox; and four sisters, Irene Wigley, Lela Murphy, Georgia Brantley and Marie Fox Priest.
She is survived by a granddaughter, LeaAnn Youngblood Dolan and husband Barry of Crossett; a great-grandson, Nathan McIntyre and wife Karly of Fayetteville; a step great-granddaughter, Danni Dolan of Monticello; and four great-great grandchildren, Haven, Holynn, Cohen and Creed all of Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Lone Sassafras Cemetery with Rev. Michael Griffith officiating. You can sign Mrs. Edith's guestbook registry here on her page.
