Robert ''Bobby'' Cherry, age 67 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He was born September 14, 1958, in Drew County, AR to the late David Earl Cherry and Helen Jean Bridges Cherry.

Bobby was a mechanic and truck driver all of his life and loved working on race cars. He also cherished the time spent with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister.

Survivors include the love of his life, Tammi Hamilton Nowlin of Monticello; one son; numerous aunts and uncles; along with his two dogs, Bouncer and Scoop; a cat, Tippy; along with the family of Grayden Boyd who raised him to be the man that he was.

Graveside arrangements in Centerpoint Cemetery will be announced soon by Stephenson-Dearman.
