He was a retired construction worker and was of the Pentecostal faith. Dewey enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding the backroads and playing with his dog, Sassy Lou. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Arthur Bryan Savage and Bridgette Allen; brothers, Bruce Savage and James Daniel Savage; sisters, Sara Howerton, Mary Jackson, Louise Galbreath; and three grandchildren.
He is survived by children, Bobby Wayne Savage of Warren, Danette Lawson and husband Sonny of El Dorado and LeAnne Davis of Johnsville; one brother, Laron Savage and wife Joan of Warren; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Outlaw Cemetery in Bradley County, AR. There will be a visitation Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
