Rodney Keith Burke, 87, of Florence, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Delta Memorial Medical Center in Dumas, Arkansas. He was born July 6, 1938, in Florence, Arkansas to the late Edgar Monroe Burke and Flora Hayes Burke. Keith was a United States Marine. Once his time of service was complete, he became a telephone service lineman until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing for crappie, and being outdoors. He enjoyed working in the garden and picking acorns and planting them to become saplings.

In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by his sister, Pat Selman; brother, Ira Gene Burke; and grandson, Brett Burke.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Burke; two sons, Roger Keith Burke and Doyle Wayne Burke both of Monticello, Arkansas; grandchildren, Lindsey Sutherland of Little Rock, Dylan Burke of Little Rock, Garrett Burke of Monticello, Tylan Burke of Monticello, and Titus Burke of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Braylen Sutherland; two brothers, Lamar Burke and wife Bea of Rison, and Leonard Burke and wife Pat of Monticello; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. You can sign Keith's guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
