She is preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Margaret Griffin Byrd and her father, Theo Harris Byrd. Stella was a Baptist by faith. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Margene Maloney of Monticello and Priscilla Ann Lapp of Rockford, IL.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2026, at Oakland Cemetery.
