Gail was a special friend, kind, hardworking, great cook and so funny. I was able to visit with her about a week before her passing. It was a brief visit and I wish it had been longer. I have so many fond memories of the Carter family. Being such a close friend with her brother Jimmy brought Kat, JD, Patti, Gail, Jaye and all his other Greenville nieces and nephews into my orbit and Gail and I remained in contact after Jimmy passed. She loved her family deeply and she didn't meet a stranger.
She will be missed by so many. Sending love and hugs to the family.
