She is survived by two daughters, Jaye Jones and husband Larry and Ann Kling and husband Larry all of Monticello; a sister, Pat Lack and husband Johnny; her four beloved grandchildren, Lance Kling and wife Kasey, Levi Kling and wife Sydney, Hannah Kling Darnell and husband Clay, and Suzanne Leonard and husband Phillip; four great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Lois, California Ann and Ginger; and sister and brother-in-law, Hannah and Art Harris.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Pleasant Springs Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. preceding the graveside service at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church.

Monticello, AR Wednesday, April 1, 2026 Gail was a special friend, kind, hardworking, great cook and so funny. I was able to visit with her about a week before her passing. It was a brief visit and I wish it had been longer. I have so many fond memories of the Carter family. Being such a close friend with her brother Jimmy brought Kat, JD, Patti, Gail, Jaye and all his other Greenville nieces and nephews into my orbit and Gail and I remained in contact after Jimmy passed. She loved her family deeply and she didn't meet a stranger. She will be missed by so many. Sending love and hugs to the family.
