Stephen Phillip Schueth of Monticello, AR passed away on April 15, 2026. Stephen was born in Kankakee, IL on April 9, 1971, to Phillip H. and Mary Jane (Klemm) Schueth. He graduated from Crossett High School in 1990 and later joined the Navy in 1992. He worked as a railroad conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for 17 years, perfect for him as his entire life passion was trains.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

He is survived by sisters, Gail E. Schueth of Basalt, CO and Mary K. Drafts (John, Eliza, Hayden) of Lakewood, CO; brother, Daniel L. Schueth (Kansas City); son, Paul T. McDuffee; and daughter, Laurin McDuffee. He is also survived by his uncle, Wayne L. Bismark of Maryville, TN, a cousin, Andrew W. Bismark (Florencia) of San Diego; and special friends, George Chambers, Claire Carouthers, Doc, and Stephanie Fowler.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on May 15, 2026, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, AR at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
