Rodney Terence Forrest transitioned to his Spiritual Realm on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from a heart attack at Baptist Hospital in Arkadelphia, AR. He was born at Bradley County Memorial Hospital in Warren, AR on December 6, 1975, to Jenny Wright (Dickerson- Forrest) of Rison, AR and Glen Forrest of Monticello, AR.

He was a Baptist by faith and did surrender his life to the Lord a couple of years ago. Although he started out in church, like many, he took a different path. He loved God but put God on the side until he said he was tired and needed God to be in control. He attended The Master's House in Hot Springs, AR. He is under the Choctaw Nation as is his children.

He attended schools in Monticello & Lakeside High School in Hot Springs where he would graduate. He was employed by Mountain Valley Water of Hot Springs, AR. He said he went from hard labor while working at Kisswire in Pine Bluff to making Kool-Aid better known as the ICE drinks that are so popular with Mountain Valley Water.

Although known for his ability to draw and capture the essence of anyone or anything and bring it to life, he was well known for his abilities at the billiard table. He could run a table before his opponent had the opportunity to attempt one shot. At 16 he placed 17th in State finals of nine ball tournaments. When he could find time, he would find peace on the golf course and was known to teach a few young children how to play the game. He was a friend to many and was always willing to give a helping hand because he knew the struggle was real.

He was the father of two beautiful girls that he would not get to see grow into beautiful ladies due to life's challenges and divorce, but it never stopped the love he had for them or his desire to have them in his life.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mildred Forrest, whom he loved beyond measure; his brother, Justin Dakota Wright; his Aunt Brenda, who he thought hung the moon with her beautiful laugh; his great grandmother, Rosie Dickerson, who made sure his Indian heritage would be secured for him and his children.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather Jenny & David Wright; his father, Glen Forrest; daughters, Summer Rain Forrest (Clark) and Leslie N. Forrest (Clark) last known from the state of Alabama; his sisters, Chevy Forrest of Monticello, AR, Ashley Wright of Hot Springs and Kristy Rayburn; his companion and love, Crystal Beck of Arkadelphia and known as Poppa to Waylon Beck; his best friend, fur baby Macie; along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday April 25, 2026, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello, AR. There will be a visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. preceding the funeral service. Serving as honorary pallbearers are David Wright, Jube Owen, Alan Dickerson, Justin Pinkerton, Bobby Webb and Eddie Rabb.

I'm just now finding out about your passing. I remember you and my father always playing pool as a child I found it so entertaining I never knew the strategy behind it but you and him bonded over that. You just reached out to me when he passed in February and hearing the hurt in your voice that you didn't feel like you made time for him as y'all grew older I really wish I would have told you that he cherished you and always talked about you so highly. There was rarely a story he told that didn't involve you, him and some pool table on a Saturday night running pockets dry. You will truly be missed and I know you're in heaven with dad making them trick shots again. To the family and friends you are all in my prayers we loved rodney as if he were family.
