He was a retired Salesman with True Manufacturing having traveled all over the world working for them and actually opened the door for the company in Europe. In addition to traveling, Jim enjoyed hunting, reading, working on the farm, playing cards, church activities and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved family gatherings, doing genealogy and just being a practical joker. Jim traveled the world extensively and has been on three around-the-world trips. He was a proud United States Army Veteran. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Lamar Moore and Maurice Moore; a nephew, Brett Moore; along with his former wife, Karen B. Moore.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Price Moore, II and wife Beatrice (Bebee) of Mauriceville, TX and David Eric Moore of Frisco, TX; one daughter, Dana Lynn Arceneaux and fiancé Dr. Tony Remirez of Beaumont, TX; grandchildren, Tanya Hamilton, Robert Davalos, Lori Gaspard, Brandon Eric Moore, Carrie Brown, Cody Campbell, Caitlyn Arceneaux; great grandchildren, Crew, Halie Jane, Dillon, Ethan, Michael, Addison, Jackson, Brooklyn, Austin, Logan, Kaegan, Corban, Raelynn, Landry, Cole and McKenzie; along with the mother of his children, Brenda Moore of Vidor, TX.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Friday, May 22, 2026, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
