He was a retired District Sales Manager and Corporate Training Manager, Cabinet maker and longtime member of Pauline Missionary Baptist Church and a United States Army National Guard Veteran. He was also a member of the UAM Alumni Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mardelle Crawford Henley.
Survivors include two sons, Mark P. Henley of Portland, ME and Brent C. Henley and wife Debra of Plano, TX; one sister, Melba Inous Wilkins of Crossett; and two grandsons, Aidyn C. Henley of Plano, TX and Richard Henley Powers of Kansas City, MO.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2026, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rob Leonard officiating. There will be a visitation from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
