She was a retired teacher and member of Pauline Missionary Baptist Church. Donna loved fishing, scrapbooking, crafting, sewing, being outdoors, and making others laugh. She was always the person you could depend on to make you feel better through laughter. She loved spending time with her family and adored her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Forrest; mother, Lynvil Calhoun; father, Lamar Calhoun; and two brothers, Randy and Dwight Calhoun.
Survivors include her brother, Ricky Calhoun and wife Beth; two daughters, Jenna Forrest Cater and husband Nick and Sheigh Forrest Murphy and husband John; three grandchildren, Piper Emmaleigh Forrest, Adaline Rose Forrest and Gage Forrest Cater all of Monticello; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Leonard officiating. There will be a visitation from 4:00-5:30 preceding the funeral service in the chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
