Jacque Mae McBee Murphy, age 59 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, AR after a brief illness. She was born May 21, 1967, in Pine Bluff, AR to the late Sterling McBee and Della Herrington McBee. She was the treasured baby sister to her six siblings.

She spent the majority of her younger years in Monticello where she got her teaching degree from UAM. She dearly loved all her students over her 28 years. She impacted the lives of all her students in teaching. It was truly her calling. She was and has been loved by so many young people who had the privilege to be in her classroom.

Jacque loved the beach, the Buffalo River, birdwatching, all types of music especially Diana Krall, her family and her ''Angel Boy'', Doc, a Havanese who found and claimed Jacque when she needed him most. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Warren where she added her beautiful Soprano voice to the choir.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Les Murphy; her brothers, Sterling McBee, Jr. and Johnny McBee and wife Melissa; her sisters, Charlotte Wilson and husband Faron, Annette Langton and husband Steve and Pam Mowery and husband Mike; her sons, Drew Todd and wife Lindsey and Halen Owen Murphy and wife Alexis; four grandsons, Gavin, J.T., Trey and Tyson Todd; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tom.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Warren Methodist Church with Rev. Dixon Platt officiating. There will be a visitation an hour before the service from 11:00 a.m. '''' 12:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Warren First Methodist Church, 111 W. Church St. Warren, AR 71671.
