Virginia Janette McCuan Breeding
December 17, 1932 - August 5, 2026

Virginia Janette McCuan Breeding, age 93 of Monticello, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 5, 2026, at Belle View Nursing and Rehab in Monticello, AR. She was the oldest of eleven children born December 17, 1932, to Charlie McCuan and Gladys Hall McCuan.

She grew up in and around the Dumas and Watson area of Arkansas where most knew her as Janette. She was the widow of Olen Breeding, a retired Burlington Industries employee and attended Oak Grove Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Virginia loved gardening, traveling with her sister, going to gospel music venues along with being an avid reader. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her four children, Ricky Breeding and wife Linda of Monticello, Sandy Freeman and husband Phil of Bakersfield, CA, Shirley Raedy and husband Mike of Bakersfield, CA and Gayle Hayden and husband Eddie of Monticello; one sister, Sue Stubblefield of Oildale, CA; one brother, Bobby McCuan of Bakersfield, CA; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery.
