Davis Lee Allen

Davis Allen lived a life defined by faith, quiet integrity, and wholehearted devotion to his family and community. Guided by a gentle spirit and enduring wisdom, he carried a compassionate heart that touched everyone around him. Through his everyday acts of kindness, generosity, and service, Davis leaves behind a proud legacy that will continue to guide and inspire future generations. Though he is deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to share in his life. Davis greatest joy was his family. He is preceded by his wife, Lily Allen; son, Oris Allen; grandson, Ricky Allen, Jr.; and siblings, 5 brothers & 8 sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Jennifer Allen, Ricky Allen and Quincy Allen; sisters: Dorothy Peoples, (twin sister) Doris Allen, Christine Allen and Rosie Lee Allen; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces & nephews, neighbors, and lifelong friends with countless lives touched through his kindness and charisma.

LEGACY: Davis''™s charisma would brighten any dim light he wandered across. There was never a dull moment when he entered the room. His unwavering determination and personality will continue through everyone he touched.

There will be a visitation Friday, August 28, 2026, from 3:00 '''' 5:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Bailey Austin of Revival Center Church COGIC officiating. Serving as active pallbearers are Oliver Steverson, Jalon Pulliam, Herachio Bolden, Jr., Trevor Allen, Albert Jackson, Jr., Herachio Bolden, Sr., Jalen Thrower and Morlett Bolden.
