Barbara was a graduate of Monticello High School and devoted her life to being a loving homemaker. She was a longtime member of Rose Hill Freewill Baptist Church, where her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She was widowed in 2000 after the passing of her husband, R.L. Miller, Jr. and was also preceded in death by her son, Bradford Shane Miller as well as her parents.
She is survived by her son, Rusty Lathan Miller; and her cherished grandchildren, Heavenly Moon Rainbow Bodiford of Monticello and Aaylah Nichol Locicero of Dutch Town, Louisiana. She also leaves behind her brother, Charles William Keen of Crossett, his daughter Aimee Nicole Keen, and Vickie Keen Carlton of Benton AR and her children Melanie Hutchison and husband Andrew of Conway, Christopher Knight and wife Princess of Rockwall TX, and Jacob and wife Kelsey of Little Rock, AR; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who loved her dearly.
Barbara''™s greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. Her gentle spirit, warm heart, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation Friday evening from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery.
