William “Billy” Alderman, 78 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Belleview Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. He was born January 30, 1936 in Evansville, IN. to the late Elmer Owen Alderman and Nina Gilliam Alderman.
He was a retired welder for Dura Craft Boat Company and was a Christian. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Ann Tarven.
Survivors include one son, Mike Alderman of Monticello; two sisters, June Alderman Smithwick and husband Richard of Catoosa, OK and Sheryl Alderman Dewey and husband Tim of San Angelo, TX; one grandson, Ryan Alderman of Hoodsport, WA; one granddaughter, Maylissa Russell of Springfield, MO, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
