Gladys Ogden Scott, age 90 of Monticello, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at her home. She was born June 10, 1924 in Clarksville to the late Ebb Ogden and Thelma Strickland Ogden.
She was the widow of Charlie Scott, a homemaker and member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Lee Scott; a daughter, Betty Rankin; a son-in-law, James Rankin; and a grandson, Jeffrey Siler.
Survivors include one son, Eugene Scott and wife Anne of Monticello; two daughters, Janice Sue Drago and husband Sam of Hammond, LA and Jo Scott of Monticello; two sisters, Louise Cromer of San Diego, CA and Jean Hall of Virginia Beach, VA; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
