Louis M. Hudson, age 83 of Monticello, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born August 2, 1931 in Cleveland County, AR to the late Louis Leroy Hudson and Bessie Mae Bowlin Hudson.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War and was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was a jack of all trades, a family man and an avid Razorback fan. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four sisters, Opal Lunsford, Joyce Lunsford, Margaret Lunsford and Debbie King; and a brother, Jimmy Fred Hudson.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Wallace Hudson of Monticello; one son, Tony Hudson and wife, Kelly of Monticello; one daughter, Judy Long and husband, Johnny of Oakland, TN; three grandchildren, Kristofer Hudson, Michael Hudson and Rachel Long and one step grandson, Tyler Dunn.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 31 at Second Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church.
